Harvest Party Features - Round One!

Sorry it's been so quiet around here again this week. I'm getting ready to host a Shutterfly party this weekend and my house needed a little TLC in order to be party-worthy. I've also been a little inundated with orders this week and trying to get some new gift sets posted. Which is good for me, but it means that this poor little blog gets a little neglected. Hopefully after the party (and while my house is still clean), posting will resume as normal and I can get back to some projects I've been itching to get to!

Also, while I've got you here, don't forget to go enter the giveaway for the My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Software. I'm really loving this software, seriously! And there are only a few entries so far, so your chances of winning are pretty good!

Now, on to the features. First of all, thanks to everyone who has linked up so far to the Harvest Party! There will be a few rounds of features through the month of November, so keep on linking up your awesome projects!

First up are these cute little PB Knockoff Metallic Pumpkins from ReMade Simple. I love the look of the silver and the orange and how the orange is peeking through. So cute!

Even though I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin pie (blasphemy, I know), I enjoy other things made with pumpkin, so I'm totally digging this Round Up of Pumpkin Recipes from Crumbs and Chaos!

Looking for something fun to do with your kids for Thanksgiving? I love the idea of creating Thanksgiving Potholders that show off the kiddo's handprints. What a fun keepsake! Thanks to Pampered by Tammie for sharing!

If your idea was featured, be sure to grab the featured button from the sidebar to the right! Have a great weekend!

Last Round of Halloween Party Features!

Since it's Halloween, we thought it would be fun to do one last round of features from our Halloween link party. If your idea was featured below, please feel free to grab a button from our right sidebar. I've been told that the info for the button doesn't work if I copy and paste it into a post (weird, I know), so for now you'll just have to snag it from the sidebar.

Also, thanks to all of you who took the time to share your blog and creativeness with us. We've really enjoyed checking out all your cute stuff!

The link with the most clicks was this Happy Halloween Printable from Loving Every Second! I love the burlap look it has to it!

And because Andyroo's loves Snoopy, this one caught my eye. Linda from Our House on the Corner uses some fun Snoopy push-ins to make a Snoopy pumpkin. How cute! I'm going to have to try something like this for Andyroo next year!

Looking for something quick and easy for the trunk or treat or something to hang outside? Go check out these Easy Peasy Ghosts from Creating Sarah.

Are you looking for an easy treat to take to a party or an addition to your own party yumminess? Then you NEED to go check out these Caramel Apple Nachos from Caramel Potatoes. Yum!

We've had so much fun partying with you guys and checking out your awesome creations. Because of that, we've decided we'll also be hosting a Thanksgiving/Fall party too! Start tomorrow - November 1st - be sure to come back and link up anything Thanksgiving or Fall related. We'll have a section just for recipes and another for everything else (decor, activities, etc) We hope you'll all come back and share your awesomeness with us once again!

This Incredibles T-Shirt from Arts & Crafts seems like such a fun and easy idea. And (as she's doing) it's something that you could comfortably wear to work!

I know we've featured Design DNA before in our party features, but holy cow! She has some amazing ideas for Halloween decor - stuff that's cheap and easy! The latest idea that I'm in love with? Man Eating Plants!

And how about this Interactive Monster Wreath from Creating Sarah!? If you pull on the candy in the middle, the eyes and teeth of the monsters pop open. You HAVE to go see how she made it!

More Faves from the Halloween Link Up!!!

It's time for another round of features from our Great Halloween Link Up! If you haven't already, be sure to hop on over and submit your own awesome projects and get some inspiration from the amazing projects that have already been linked up! We'd especially love to see some more costume ideas added to the party!

One of my favorites is the Halloween Spell Book from Design DNA. I love, love, love that it uses common crafting supplies. I know I have everything on hand and might just have to give it a try!

Check out the Cowboy and Indian Princess Costumes that Joy in the Jumble created for less than $10! That's my kind of project! And so cute too!

I've seen all sorts of bat collages around blogland lately, but I love that Lorie from Reading Confetti used handprints to make bats! You have to go see the picture of her son's expression when he first saw the bats. Priceless! And Lorie - I'm in LOVE with your kitchen, by the way!!

If we featured your idea, be sure to grab our featured buttons! Thanks for linking up!

Faves from the Great Halloween Link-up!

It's officially October! Is that weird to anyone else? If it weren't for the fabulous, family-filled holidays coming up, I would totally be in denial! I swear it was just February and snowing!

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to do some features from our Halloween Party!

The most viewed link so far was this awesome Happy Halloween Printable from Loving Every Second. How cool is that? It's a printable that looks like it was printed on burlap!

I love a good upcycle, so these Juice Bottle Ghosts from Itsy Bitsy Paper are right up my alley! I don't drink the Tropicana juice, but I might have to give these a try with the juice bottles we do have!

I also loved looking back at the last 8 years of costumes from Big D and Me. Jennifer has some great, easy costumes ideas. Very inspirational!

If you were featured, we would LOVE it if you would grab our featured button!

Blog Feature: Dating Divas

Have you all heard about The Dating Divas? I discovered them almost a year ago and thought that I would share them with you.

Do you ever struggle to find some new ideas for date night? Does the same old dinner and a movie get reeeeally boring after a few months. We live in a little Northern Utah town where there are about 3 things to do - dinner (restaurant or picnic), movie, and bowling, We definitely need help with date night. That's where The Dating Divas come in!

The great thing about them is that they're not just dating ideas - they're all about strengthening marriages. Learning to serve one another, learning to love one another, and even spicing things up sometimes.

If you need some help planning creative dates or want to find some ways to strengthen your marriage, then you should definitely go check them out!!!

Some Fun Kids Ideas!

I've been linking up at a few blog parties and I've come across some fun kids ideas that I just had to share.

With back to school sales in full swing, I was thinking about picking up some watercolors for Andyroo. But then I came across this recipe to make Homemade Watercolors on I Can Teach My Child. Using some simple and common ingredients, you can make this...

Sweet Little Smoothie introduced me to using Mason Jars in place of your usual blender jar. Brilliant idea!!!! Andyroo loves to share my smoothies and this will be so easy to make a smaller amount!!

Polish the Stars has a tutorial/recipe for DIY Moon Sand. I think Andyroo would LOVE this stuff!!!

Preschool Alphabet (which is one of my favorite sites, btw) shows us how to make your own musical instruments!!!! Andyroo will love these too!

I see lots of fun in the near summer future (what few weeks we have left, anyway).

Feature Blog - Rants from Mommyland

Andyroo fell asleep on my lap, so I've got some free time. I *HAVE* to sit here snuggle my little one! Anyway, Hubs was nice enough to bring me the laptop, so I was checking out Facebook. A friend of mine on Facebook suggested an article from Rants from Mommyland. I think this is my new favorite blog! Hilarious! And not just the post from today - everything that I've read has made me laugh out loud. Luckily Hubs is in the other room doing some stuff for work, so I don't have to explain every time I laugh. Today she's writing about Top 10 Reasons 3 is Worse than 2. I'm a little afraid since we're just venturing into the 3s. The twos have been pretty tame so far, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that 3 doesn't get so bad, but to be honest it's not looking good. Anyway, I just had to share, so go check it out!
