Does just thinking of the word tweezing make you cringe? I have some helpful tips to make it less painful.
My first tip is to wait to tweeze until you're out of the shower. The steam and hot water from the shower opens up your pores and makes it easier to pull the hair out. If you don't have time for a shower use a damp warm clothe over the area to open your pores.
My second tip is to use ice to numb the area first. Hold the ice over the area you desire to tweeze for about a minute. Wipe away the water that has melted and start tweezing. Be careful with this method because if you are numb you could hurt yourself by grabbing your skin with the tweezers if you're not careful.
I hope these tips help your next tweezing experience to be less painful. Keep an eye out for more beauty tips, tricks, and tutorials by Heather! :)

ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to the sneezing. The sneezing is because you are working on an area that is close to your eyes. The reaction is your body's way of protecting you from whatever is causing the pain. Your body thinks that watery eyes will help get something out of it and sneezing will help if anything has gone into your nasal passages. So just using these tips to make it less painful will help a lot! I hope you come back for more tips. Thanks for the question!
